Did you know that we provide free meals for kids during summer vacation?

Kids can eat free, nutritious food, Monday through Friday, June 19 - August 11. Times vary by location. Meals will not be served on July 3rd and 4th.

Nearly 50 locations, including schools, parks and community centers will offer breakfast, lunch and snacks. These locations will be open to the general public and you don't need to fill out an application. Children 18 years of age and under can receive up to two free meals per site. Call 2-1-1 or visit the website to find a site near you.

Family Arts Night

Olson's first annual Family Arts Night was a huge success!  On Friday, May 5th, we invited families to view and participate in a showcase of student art work, spoken word, hip hop dance, singing and musical instruments.  We also invited some artists from the community to bring their talents into our school!  We had the Kalaanjali School of Dance perform, which included students from Olson, Jazmin Jackson led Hip Hop Dancing, and local musician Leotha Stanley, who taught the students one of his brand new songs!
